For our set design, I wasn't able to be in meeting were Andy work on it, but I myself had an idea already of how I wanted the set to look like.
One of my favorite shows, that as a matter of fact is very very famous in the US and other countries, is the Ellen Degeneres Show
I love everything about this show and of course Ellen as the host is quite a character. The reason I brought this show up is because the type of set she uses is more or less the type of set that I was thinking of. Something simple, that felt like home or like a cafe, where people would feel nice to talk to, very personal and of course the use of a screen. Here is a look at her set:
As you can see not to complicated, 2 sofas (in our case would be larger sofas,) a table in the middle to put papers, cups or even flowers and a screen right in between the host as the guest. This is just the type of set I had in mind from the beginning and gladly the idea of Andy was pretty much the same one. One thing that we are trying at the moment to look into is the possibility of is some sort of platform to raise the level of the studio so it can look quite more professional. In the end and at the moment this is the concept of the studio set and the positions of the camera
Well done for researching relevant set design
